SNSD shares a secret about their ‘airport fashion’

SNSD admitted that their classy airport fashion was simply for the cameras.

On a recent recording of ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook‘, MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked the group, “You guys are dressed in completely different outfits before you board a plane and after you land. You guys always look so nicely dressed, even for flights that are extremely long… how do you manage?”

The girls responded, “As soon as we board, we go into the restroom to change into our sweats. Sometimes Sunny will just change in the window seat without bothering to use the restroom. There are times, though, that we don’t bother to change back before we land”.

This episode of ‘Sketchbook’ will air on December 2nd at 12:15AM KST.

JYJ sells out 70,000 special edition copies of ‘In Heaven’

On November 30th, C-JeS Entertainment revealed that JYJ has sold out 70,000 copies of their special edition ‘In Heaven‘ album.

A representative stated, “Back in September, JYJ’s album sold 250,000 copies, even though they were still restricted from broadcast. After releasing their special edition of the album earlier this week, all 70,000 copies have been sold out.”

C-JeS Entertainment stated that this special edition album included remixes of “Get Out” and “Heaven“, which were two of the most popular songs on JYJ’s latest world tour.

JYJ expressed, “We feel that the remix versions are more meaningful because they are all self-composed songs. For those who want an emotional winter at the end of this year, these songs have been revived so that they can be comfortably listened to in a close party setting with friends.”

The remix versions of “Get Out” and “Heaven” were released on December 1st through various music websites such as Melon, Dosirak, Bugs, and Cyworld.

In related news, JYJ recently unveiled a special pictorial through ELLE magazine, aiming to help raise awareness on a charity project for children in Sudan. The group now plans to take a break from working.

Super Junior’s Shindong and AA’s Woosang reunite backstage

AA and Super Junior‘s Shindong snapped a photo together.

Member Woosang tweeted, “It’s been so long since I’ve been with Shindong-hyung. Now, he is not a hyung, but a sunbae. Thank you for taking care of me until the end of that day.”

The members and Shindong met backstage during Music Bank‘s latest episode.

Woosang and Shindong have known each other since 2007, when Woosang was a choreography director for Super Junior’s “Rokkugo“, “Don’t Don“, and “Thirst (A Man in Love)“.

On that day, Shindong saw Woosang, congratulated him on his debut, and gave him advice about his new life as a singer.

Woosang said, “It feels like a dream to converse with such a sunbae in the same dressing room. I’m so happy that all my dreams are finally coming true. I am thankful of Super Junior, who made me who I am today. I will become a great singer and a hubae to be proud of.”

New still-cuts of SNSD’s YoonA in ‘Love Rain’

Anticipation for PD Yoon Suk Ho‘s new drama, ‘Love Rain‘, just got kicked up a notch thanks to new still-cuts of SNSD‘s YoonA.

‘Love Rain’ is the first collaboration project in 10 years between PD Yoon Suk Ho and screenwriter Oh Soo Yeon, who are famous for their Hallyu classics like ‘Autumn Tale‘ and ‘Winter Sonata‘. YoonA will be playing two roles: ‘Kim Yoon Hee‘, a neat, innocent beauty from the 1970′s, and her daughter, ‘Ha Roo‘, a bright, loveable girl in the present.

YoonA revealed, “Because this is the first project I am doing in a long time, I feel the pressure and responsibility [to do well], alongside anticipation and thrills. Through the unfamiliar set, costumes, and props, I feel like I am indirectly experiencing the campus life of youths during the 1970′s. I think that it is a very enjoyable and fascinating project.”

‘Love Rain’, which portrays the pure emotions of love during the ’70s and the trendy love of today’s society, is planning to air during the first half of 2012.

Lee Seung Gi confesses he once thought of leaving the industry

Multi-talented singer Lee Seung Gi recently confessed that he once thought of quitting his career as a celebrity.

On the November 27th broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘MIC‘, Lee Seung Gi appeared as a guest, where he talked about the unexpected mental hardships he went through during his earlier years as a singer.

Commenting on his second album, ‘Crazy For U‘ (2006), Lee Seung Gi confessed, “Compared to my other albums, this album has the most despair and sadness in it. I was extremely insecure and was asking myself, ‘Can I do well?’ I think those feelings were in the album.”

He continued, “The period between the first and second album release was the time when I was concerned about Lee Seung Gi as a person the most. I asked myself, ‘Can I not be a celebrity? Should I quit? Maybe it’s not for me?’, and once thought of running away.”

Lastly, he added, “There’s something called a ‘sophomore jinx’, where the second album doesn’t do so well if the first one did. But, I didn’t even have the energy to think about it. Even during my second album, I was scolded for not singing well.”
